Cox Roofing Systems evolved from Stan Cox Insulation Contractors which was started in 1976 as a Urethane Foam Insulation Company. Cox did more and more roofing and finally the insulation company morphed into a full-fledged Roofing Company and was incorporated as Cox Roofing Systems in 1990.

Cox Roofing primarily serves the Northern Canadian market, but has gradually expanded to cover all of Ontario and beyond. They have worked in the Arctic, in Labrador, Northern Quebec, the Northwest Territories, throughout Ontario, with branches in North Bay, Sudbury and the Greater Toronto Area.
